Position Overview:
As a Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our adoption (litigation) cases by conducting thorough legal research, preparing documents, and contributing to the overall success of our practice. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a small, collaborative environment where your contributions will directly impact the lives of our clients and where you will learn a lot.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research on adoption laws, regulations, and precedents.
- Draft and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Assist in case preparation and management.
- Collaborate with the legal team to analyze and interpret complex legal issues.
- Stay informed about changes in adoption laws and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in Florida or willing to become licensed.
- Exceptional research and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience in adoption law is not required but is a plus.
Work Environment:
Our firm offers a flexible work schedule, allowing you to work in-office 2-3 days a week and remotely for the remaining days. We believe in fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where your talents and contributions are recognized and valued.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
