An Insurance Attorneym, an established, AV-rated Tampa Bay insurance defense firm, is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney for its St. Petersburg office. Candidates with 2-5 years' experience in general civil defense, first party, and third-party insurance litigation are preferred. Candidates must be actively licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and be in good standing with The Florida Bar.
An Insurance Attorney is comprised of attorneys who have provided experienced and dedicated legal services to clients in Central and West Coast Florida for many years and is dedicated to representing individuals, governmental entities, insurance carriers, and other business entities in a variety of areas from general liability issues to complex medical, commercial, and construction related disputes.
Responsibilities include preparation of pleadings and discovery, taking and defending depositions, handling hearings, document review, research, and communication with clients and insurance carriers. Candidates will gain experience litigating cases from inception through conclusion.
