The ideal candidate will possess sales and business development experience in an Assisted Living, healthcare, hospitality, or similar environment. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of the industry and be able to market our exceptional, Assisted Living residences and services both internally and to the surrounding community.
Responsibilities include:
- Strategically collaborates with the executive director and leadership team to effectively develop, implement, and manage a Health Center sales plan and perform sales activities to build internal and external relationships to increase referrals and admissions.
- Conduct sales presentations and develop a strong Health Center referral network identifying prospective admissions from geographical partners including hospitals, physicians, residential care facilities, home health agencies, senior service agencies, etc.
- Responsible for all aspects of the admission process including meeting and touring with the prospective resident and/or family and having all relevant paperwork including admission contracts.
- Manage the admissions process internally, coordinating nursing and the interdisciplinary team members and externally with the admitting facility/agency or family.
- Utilize the Sherpa system and maintain an active prospect database
- Organize and host various marketing and sales events.
- Complete quarterly marketing strategy, competitive analysis, metrics, and census reports.
Qualifications:
- Five years’ sales or business development experience in an Assisted Living or long-term healthcare environment
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Proven prospecting, networking, relationship-building and new business development skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills a must, possessing the ability to clearly and calmly relate to and communicate concisely with a diverse group of people
- Ability to relate well to older adults, their families and their advocates
- Computer skills including MS Office, and CRM/Contact management systems
