Salary: $55,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience
Terrific Assistant to the President and CEO position ("Assistant") with a large foundation committed to strengthening the communities of South Florida and furthering philanthropic initiatives across the country. This role will provide support to the fast paced Executive Office to enable it to operate at a high capacity. The Assistant will work closely with the President and CEO and handle calendaring, pre- and post-meeting preparation/notes, managing contacts, and other administrative tasks. This position will craft correspondence on behalf of the President and CEO. The Assistant will also collaborate extensively with other members of the Executive Office. Ideal candidates will be highly organized, detail oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Candidates should have approximately 5+ years of related experience, ideally with some time supporting an executive level role. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the office of the President and CEO, including contact management, expense reports, planning travel, meeting agendas, composing written correspondence, and calendaring
Serve as the main point of contact for the Office of the President and CEO, treating everyone with the utmost respect and ensuring that everyone is valued
Handle a large volume of confidential information with discretion and confidentiality
Provide pre-meeting briefings and follow-up, as needed
Manage the President and CEO's high volume, fluid calendar
Attend and support all board meetings, take minutes, and ensure distribution of materials
Qualifications:
Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience including time in an Executive Assistant, customer service focused, or similar role
Bachelor's degree preferred
Stellar calendaring skills with a great attention to detail
Strong level of curiosity and ability to read the room
Tech savvy and experience with various software including Microsoft Office, Foundant, Asana, and Canva preferred
Demonstrated track record of working in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external contacts
