Assistant Store Manager - Commercial / Retail Paint Store
Rodda Paint is the largest privately owned producer of paint in the Pacific Northwest. Our Assistant Managers are responsible for delivering a great experience to our customers and for participating as a cooperative team members providing outstanding performance in the areas of customer service, product sales and operating processes. The Assistant Manager is a member of the store management team and performs the functions that directly support all customers and salesmen.

Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers, assessing needs and making project product recommendations.
- Deliver an outstanding customer service experience by being knowledgeable on product applications and offerings.
- Make local deliveries to job sites and customers in Company vehicle when needed
- Order processing, accurate tinting and shaking of paint, product and pricing inquiries.
- Inventory processes, receiving duties; putting away, rotating stock, etc.
- Participate in keeping the store organized, clean, tidy, and inviting
- All other store operational duties as assigned

Regular training and increasing responsibility and awareness of physical and logistical operations for:
- Store business plan, fiscal management of financials, budgeting, operating statement
- Inventory management with adherence to inventory budgets and procedure
- Product ordering and store organization
- Day-to-day of a needs of a commercial / retail store
- Store staffing, payroll processing and policies
Qualifications / Requirements:
- 2+ years demonstrated experience in Paint store environment.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and pass employment background screens and Motor Vehicle Record Check
- Present & maintain a valid driver's license from residence State.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures, PPE rules
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent; basic mathematical skills, fully conversant, speaking and listening.
- Punctual attendance is required; scheduling must remain flexible & available
- The work environment consists of physical conditions typical of a retail store.
- Full-physical mobility is required to perform this job; constant standing and the ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs. with assistance.
