Position: Assistant Resident Manager - Tax Credit Community

Hours: M-F, 8am-5pm (subject to change)

Our client, a well-established Tax Credit community in California, is seeking an Apartment Assistant Manager to support their mission of providing comfortable and affordable living spaces.

Role Overview: As an Apartment Assistant Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the community. Your responsibilities will include assisting the property manager in day-to-day operations, resident communication, leasing support, and maintaining a welcoming and well-maintained environment. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in property management and make a positive impact on residents' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the property manager in leasing efforts, including conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
  • Foster positive resident relationships through effective communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Help oversee maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining the community's physical appearance.
  • Participate in marketing and outreach activities to attract and retain residents.
  • Assist with financial management tasks, including rent collection and budget tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in property management or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Tax Credit programs and regulations a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
