Assistant Property Manager

Duties:
- Assist the Property Manager in daily operations and management of the property
- Conduct property tours and show available units to prospective tenants
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Collect rent payments and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Assist with lease renewals and new lease agreements
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections with tenants
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, including scheduling contractors and vendors
- Maintain accurate tenant records, including lease agreements and correspondence
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants
- Perform data entry tasks to update property management software (e.g., OneSite)
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

Skills:

- Mandarin speaking is required for this position
- Strong negotiation skills to handle lease agreements and vendor contracts
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices and ability to coordinate repairs
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing regulations and procedures
- Proficient in file management and organization
- Experience using property management software (e.g., OneSite) for data entry and record keeping
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer relationship management skills
- Sales skills to effectively market available units and upsell additional services

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
