POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible, under the direction of the Program Director of Case Management Services, for the coordination of day to day operations and budgetary aspects of programs in a specific geographical area; supervises program and support staff.
Specific job responsibilities and goals include but are not limited to:
- Provide CBC case management oversight in the absence of the Program Director.
- Provide direct supervision to Case Management Supervisors.
- Provide day-to-day support and technical assistance to case management supervisors to help improve quality of services.
- Oversee and coordinate QI process/system in collaboration with the Program Director and the VP of QI and Risk Prevention within regional area of responsibility.
- Requires a working knowledge of interagency agreements/contracts and other program related materials within CBC area of responsibility.
- As directed by the Program Director for Case Management Services, participates on community/regional committees, workgroups, collaborative teams and organizations as required and/or appropriate within the region.
- Provides oversight to case management supervisors to ensure accurate, timely submittal of court documents; court appearance relating to specific cases.
- Identifies and coordinates comprehensive training needs overseeing clinical and non-clinical staff development within regional area(s) of responsibility and assures that staff have achieved annual training goals.
- In conjunction with the Program Director, reviews and monitors program expenditures insuring that day to day costs are reasonable, necessary and within program budget parameters.
- Stays informed of special trends within professional areas of expertise, participating in professional organizations as appropriate.
Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED:
- BA/BSW degree, MA preferred
- Case Management Certification preferred
- 6+ years experience in a human service organization of which 4+ years have been administrative/program management
- 3+ years in direct service preferred
- Expertise in Foster Care and Adoptions subject matter
