Assistant Director of Shatterproof at FHE Health First Responder's Program
FHE Health is looking for a clinician with administrative program management experience to join our team. Working with our nationally recognized First Responder Program comprised of police, fire, EMS, corrections, and military members. We are looking for a Florida licensed (or license eligible) clinician (LCSW, LMHC, Licensed Psychologist) to help lead the team and coordinate operations related to this specialty program. As a clinician, this position works with patients, families, and referents on clinical matters. As an administrator, this position will help to manage the program and performs administrative duties. Experience working with mental health and substance abuse issues is required. Experience in a leadership role or supervisory experience is also required. Experience with First Responders and knowledge of First Responder issues is preferred. Former employment as a First Responder is a great asset.
Job duties include but not limited to:
Work with patients, program staff, and administrative departments for program related issues.
Supervise staff as directed.
Assist in leadership duties over various program functions.
Maintain good communication with agency staff, referents, and outside contacts related to patient care.
Working as a therapist with a small caseload, assisting with group therapy, performing documentation in the EHR.
Coordinating activities related to program goals and vision.
Requirements:
Licensed Florida LMHC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist (or license eligible if relocating)
Graduate of an accredited program in psychology, social work, counseling or in a closely related field.
Knowledge of issues for First Responders in a clinical role.
Experience with mental health and substance abuse treatment.
Professional demeanor, good attitude, and strong teamwork skills.
Supervisory or leadership experience in a behavioral health setting.
Preferred experience:
Previous work in a First Responder setting or with First Responders.
Experience as a First Responders.
