The Operations Management (OM) Area consists of a collegial and diverse group of faculty dedicated to doing high-impact research and educating the next generation of researchers and managers. Areas in which we conduct pioneering research include supply chain operations, data-driven service operations, innovation and technology management, and sustainable operations. Beyond publishing and holding key editorial positions in leading Operations Management journals, our faculty cares deeply about translating their research to practice. As a result, OM Area faculty regularly interact and collaborate with companies and startups. Job Summary

The Operations Management Area in the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking tenure-track faculty candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor of Operations Management.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, conducting research, and providing service to the College, Institute, and the Operations Management profession. Faculty will be required to have a teaching load of three (3 semester hours each) courses per year. The salary is competitive with leading research universities.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should be sufficiently advanced in their doctoral work and will need to complete their Ph.D. in Operations Management by July 01, 2024, which are the minimum requirements for the position.
