Juneau is the state capital and the largest city in Southeast Alaska. The city offers a flourishing business and arts scene, an extensive library system, and public transportation. As Alaska's capital, Juneau sits at the epicenter of Alaska's governmental and economic affairs.  And Juneau is unrivalled for outdoor activity, completely surrounded by Alaska's Tongass National Forest, home to some of the most beautiful wild lands and waterways in the world including Alaska's Coast Range, the Juneau Icefield and famed Inside Passage.

The University of Alaska Southeast actively promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and access as vitally important to its present and future success. These principles are essential to the educational experiences of our students, staff, and faculty.
