Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team in Clackamas, Oregon. The Assistant Production Scheduler will collaborate closely with the production management team to optimize manufacturing processes, ensure efficient resource allocation, and maintain an organized production schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Production Scheduler to develop and maintain production schedules that meet customer demands while maximizing efficiency.
- Assist in analyzing production specifications, capacity, and constraints to determine the most effective production schedule.
- Coordinate closely with various departments, including production, supply chain, and logistics, to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
- Monitor and update production schedules based on changing priorities, resource availability, and unforeseen issues.
- Generate reports and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in the scheduling process.
- Support in implementing and improving scheduling tools and software to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts and communicate changes effectively across relevant departments.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the production process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Proven experience (2 years) in production scheduling or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate effectively across departments.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
