Assistant Production Planner /Admin

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between production plans and materials availability
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement in production processes
- Work closely with production management to ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedule

- Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete Production cycle.

- Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the Manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates

- Ensuring deadlines are met

- Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory

- Notify Customers of any schedule impacts

- Address issues regarding production and exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

- Perform other duties as assigned

- Coordinate between Warehouse and Purchasing regarding shortages

Qualifications for Production Planner:

• Excellent communication skills
• Prior experience as a Production Planner in the industry preferred
• Proficient use of computer systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous and diligent
• Ability to create and understand reports in order to make production decisions
• Bilingual a plus but not necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
