Salary We're in search of an Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Oncology Department! The shift runs from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with generous shift differentials ranging from 10% to 30%.
Pay: ?$36.14 to $56.41 per hour.
The Registered Nurse (RN) Assistant Nurse Manager collaborates with the Nurse Manager, actively participating in patient care planning, organization, and direction. They coordinate with the multi-disciplinary team to oversee day-to-day operations, including problem-solving, staffing, and quality improvement activities. Acting as a mentor, they model exemplary nursing practices and support staff development.
Education/Experience:
- Graduation from a Registered Professional Nursing program
- Minimum of 3 years relevant clinical experience required
- Preferred 5 years clinical experience
- Previous nursing management experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
Licenses/Certificates/Registrations:
- Current license and registration to practice Registered Professional Nursing in New York State
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS and PALS certifications, if required
- Certification from a specialty organization is preferred
