Assistant Manager (Naples Location)

Summary
Trek Bikes of Florida is looking for a full time Assistant Store Manager at our Naples location.
To succeed as an Assistant Store Manager, you should excel in the areas of management and organizational tasks that support the efficiency of the stores operation and promote a great shopping experience for our customers.
Duties
Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities:
·Assist Store Manager with achieving performance goals.
·Assist Store Manager with maintaining store staff results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
·Assist Store Manager with maintaining stores staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training new employees.
·Assist Store Manager with maintaining operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
·Assist Store Manager with employee/customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
·Assist Store Manager with daily staff huddles.
·Manage the D.T. L. and hold team accountable.
Requirements
Assistant Store Manager Requirements:
·High school diploma or equivalent
·Two years of previous retail management and sales experience with a proven track record of specific success.Previous bicycle retail experience a plus.
·Ability to work independently, to supervise and work well with others in a multi-functional, fast paced environment.Able to adapt to daily activities that can become complex and confusing.Capable of understanding priorities and managing time effectively.
·Able to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.Able to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.Able to multi-task.
·Ability to communicate effectively in a clear and precise manner.Strong analytical skills and the ability to formulate plans.

Compensation and Hours:
Hourly pay rate is commensurate with experience. Flexible schedule availability to accommodate the retail business needs.
