Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in daily operations and management of the store
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Supervise and train staff members on store policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation
- Oversee cash handling procedures and reconcile cash registers at the end of each shift
- Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Assist in training development for new and existing employees
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role as an Assistant Manager or in retail management
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Multilingual skills are a plus
- Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
