Assistant Manager
We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team and help manage our daily operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Open and close the store.
- Functions as the Store Manager in his/her absence.
- Conduct ongoing training and regular performance feedback to recognize results in the areas of production, customer service, and teamwork.
- Keep Store Manager informed of potential conflicts. Aid in communication with staff to prevent future issues.
- Ensure that all employees are being held to company standards and policies.
- Sell and explain services and products to customers.
- Resolve customer complaints within established guidelines.
- Ensure consistent car wash quality and an orderly rotation of cars.
- Ensure that employees are aware of product offerings, contests, coupons, etc.
- Monitor the use of chemicals, reduce waste in prepping, and chemical transfers.
- Perform weekly inventory and submit stock orders in accordance with procedures.
- Receive product shipments and enter into the computer system.
- Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure they are performing efficiently.
- All other duties assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of successful supervisory experience.
- Experience with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Able to read, write, and possess good verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Preferred: High School Diploma and/or College Credits.
