JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant High School Coordinator assists in the coordination and implementation of all High School initiatives including the Dual Enrollment program and leads in the recruitment activities for the college.
MAJOR DUTIES
- Works collaboratively with SRTC High School coordinators to promote Career and Technical Education and Dual Enrollment opportunities to all High Schools within the service delivery area and the College;
- Provides information to potential students and their parents on Dual Enrollment offerings at the College to ensure they have adequate information to make informed decisions;
- Works collaboratively with SRTC High School coordinators, High School counselors, and High School students to ensure complete implementation of Dual Enrollment procedures and processes;
- Assists in the admission, registration, and withdrawal of Dual Enrollment students;
- Assists in approving courses in SURFER;
- Markets SRTC to High Schools in the service area as well as South Georgia and North Florida, and other locations including presentations to elementary, middle, and High School classes;
- Works collaboratively with faculty on student recruitment;
- Coordinates college personnel to represent the College at special recruitment events such as PROBE, career fairs, industry, etc.;
- Coordinates the administration of the admissions placement exam in High Schools to include the coordination of placement testing for Dual Enrollment students;
- Provides tests score review with High School students following the admissions placement exam;
- Schedules and coordinates High School and middle school tours for the College;
- Manages communication plan to convert recruits to applicants;
- Participates in assessment, planning, budgeting, and staff development;
- Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree *and* Two (2) years of work experience in a secondary or post-secondary education environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
In Addition to the minimum qualifications:
- Experience in the use of Banner and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
