Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our property and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of the property's operations
- Supervise and train staff members to ensure high-quality service and adherence to company standards
- Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing shifts, making bank deposits, and reconciling cash drawers
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability
- Assist in creating employee schedules and ensuring proper staffing levels
Experience:
- Previous experience in a hotel management is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
