Zacho Sports Center is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant General Manager for our Powersports division who is ready to embark on a journey towards becoming a General Manager within one to two years. As the heartbeat of our organization, the Assistant General Manager will play a pivotal role in driving success, fostering a positive team culture, and delivering exceptional experiences to our valued customers.
The Assistant General Manager acts as a critical support role to the General Manager, helping to oversee the efficient and profitable operation of the dealership's various departments. This position plays a key role in ensuring overall customer satisfaction and maintaining the positive public image of the business.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in establishing volume and profit targets for all company departments.
- Support the GM in setting the company's overall direction and ensuring the communication of business goals and focus to all employees.
- Aid in the recruitment, empowerment, and retention of competent department managers.
- Help manage company assets and resources to meet or exceed objectives while maximizing operational efficiency.
- Assist in establishing, implementing, and monitoring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support compliance with all federal, state, and local laws related to environmental, employment, and safety standards.
- Contribute to maintaining profitable relationships with company vendors.
- Participate in the hiring, termination, compensation, and review processes of employees alongside the GM.
- Represent the company in the powersports industry, both locally and elsewhere, as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the recreational or automotive industry strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Knowledge of accounting, dealership business practices, and manufacturer’s policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organizational and computer skills.
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, and process-driven.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background/drug screen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
