Assistant General Manager

A national leader in luxury fitness is looking for amazing talent to join our team and seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to lead our studio to success! This position will be based in Avon, CT.

POSITION: 
The Assistant Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio alongside the General Manager. They will help manage new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio and booking them into Intro Classes. The position also assists with retaining current members and ensuring studio policies for staff and members are being followed. Pilates fitness knowledge or background is preferred but not required. 

Experience with Club Ready system is a major advantage.

$18 - $22 hourly

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1+ years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience preferred
• Confident in generating personal sales and supervising and training Sales Reps
• Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams including memberships and retail
• Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
• Must have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person and over the phone
• Must be solution-based and results-oriented, competitive spirit
• Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement
• Solid writing and grammar skills
• Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Professional, punctual, reliable and neat and organized
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public
• Proficiency with computers and Studio software
• College Degree Preferred
• Ability to stand for 8 hours
• This is a part-time position( @32hrs/per week). Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule with day, night and weekend availability.

DUTIES:

• Lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing and networking
• Implement sales process to schedule prospects into introductory classes
• Membership and retail sales 
• Manage staff schedule
• Supervise Sales Representatives
• Independently make decisions related to high level customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio & retail space
• Enforce studio policies and procedures
• Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions
• Any other duties as assigned
• Knowledge of social media & content creation

COMPENSATION & PERKS:

• This position offers $18 - $22 per hour + commissions
