Job Description
We are currently hiring for an Assistant General Manager at two of our Bully's Sports Bar and Grill locations.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :
- Guest experience and satisfaction
- Employee management and development P&L’s
- Food quality, and store cleanliness
The AGM must comply with:
- Company standard policies and procedures
- Must be committed to learning and improving all areas of restaurant, bar, and gaming
- management
- Assistant Managers are expected to communicate all FOH location activity to the General Manager including any
- problems, issues, or concerns
Essential Job Function and Duties
- Assist in Managing/Supervising the day-to-day operations of the front of the house and Lounge locations (when applicable).
- Understand and conform to operational policies and procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Assist in managing and directing employees. Provide leadership and communication to location staff.
- Assist in determine employee work schedules and breaks while controlling FOH Labor Costs.
- Adhere to cash handling and reconciliation procedures by following company policies.
- Adjust well to changes and changing priorities, have a sense of urgency and take the initiative.
- Assist with employee management and discipline with the guidance of Human Resources.
- Understand and comply with all Federal, State, and Local labor laws.
- Prepare documentation for employee files such as Coaching Notes, Incident Reports, and Employee Corrective Action
- Forms.
- Adhere to procedures designed to maintain the consistency and high quality of food and beverages to our guests.
- Achieve company objectives in store cleanliness, sanitation, health department compliance in addition to proper and safe
- food handling and preparation.
- Understand and comply with all federal, state, and county health, safety, and EPA regulations.
- Help to oversee job-related activities for loss prevention and security.
- Perform necessary administrative duties such as daily paperwork reconciliations, inventories, orders, schedules, and time
- approvals.
- Assist in executing marketing and promotion objectives and campaigns.
- Attend corporate management meetings, financials, and safety committee meetings.
- Respond to customer feedback, complaints, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards are met.
- Maintain Food Handling Safety Certification.
- Maintain Alcohol Awareness Certification.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Keep a thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to
- learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
- Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
- Maintain an open line of communication with Management.
- Accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
- Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
- Arriving on-time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
- Assist in using approved methods to interview, hire, and train New Employees.
- Complete appropriate paperwork to be sent for New Hire Orientation in a timely manner.
