We have an immediate need and are currently interviewing for an Assistant General Manager position. If you have experience as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager in a fast paced high volume Restaurant we would like to talk. The position provides managerial and administrative leadership to operate a franchise-owned
restaurant under the direction of the General Manager. This is the 2nd person in charge reporting to the General Manager and, when the General Manager is absent, is the top manager present in the designated restaurant and is accountable for the restaurant and operations at those times. This person directs the work of team members, both managers and
crew. The Assistant General Manager exercises discretion and independent judgment in
performing his or her duties in alignment with the scope of authority provided by General Manager.
As an Assistant General Manager you will provide leadership to shift managers, crew trainers and crew members to ensure Quality, Service, Cleanliness, and Value to our customers. As a AGM you must demonstrate leadership ability by managing crew schedules, inventory, training and planned maintenance. The ability to develop a team, work independently while still being accountable and build constructive and effective relationships to make sure the team is meeting McDonald's standards. You must be able to monitor safety, security, profitability and must ensure proper communication throughout the team. You will be responsible for meeting targets and for managing one of the following departments: people department, kitchen department, guest services department or maintenance team and helping them meet their goals.
Previous Assistant GM or General Management experience is highly recommended. Most importantly we're looking for team players who can elevate the morale in the restaurant and will help drive the team, create a fun environment and produce exemplary results in a fast paced environment.
