Our Mission
At Cajun Steamer, we exist to bring authentic Cajun cuisine and culture to our customers, nationwide. It doesn’t matter if you’re brand new to our experience or a seasoned regular (emphasis on the seasoning), our staff delivers a genuine Louisiana dining experience, plus a little more, every time.
Each Krewe at Cajun Steamer will bring its own little somethin’ to every location, so you’ll get a unique experience every time. If people are our number one export, then our food is a close, and we mean close, second. Cajun Steamer isn’t just a place to eat a Cajun meal, it’s a chance for people to experience the Creole culture of Louisiana through the bold flavors and imaginative dishes from our home state. Food is a religion in Louisiana, and we treat it that way with authentic big crawfish boils and local drinks to form an expert pairing from the Cajun state. Every plate tells a story, invokes a memory, or builds a better understanding of what a good time truly is.

Looking for restaurant professionals who are eager to help expand a brand and company on a rapid schedule. Currently hiring in the Birmingham, Auburn, and Nashville areas. Responsibilities Including but not limited to:
- Working with and managing employees in a hands-on fashion while maintaining high employment standards
- Daily coaching and development of all team members
- Daily interactions with guests to develop meaningful and lasting relationships within the community
- Insure restaurant is optimally staffed and team members are fully trained.
- Oversee and assist with all restaurant administrative requirements
- Enforcing safety and sanitary practices in the entire restaurant
- Ensure all menu items are prepared and presented according to recipe
- Strive towards operational excellence while maintaining a contagiously fun environment
- Develop initiatives within the restaurant to build sales, profitability, and guest counts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in a full service hospitality operation preferred
- Knowledge of cost and labor systems
- Knowledge of industry food safety standards and practices
- Passion for food and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work a flexible schedule
- Willing and able to work in both the back-of-house and front-of-house
