Black Clover is looking for a creative, forward-thinking, and organized Assistant Fashion Designer to join our growing team at our corporate headquarters in Draper, Utah. The ideal candidate will assist the Lead Designer with everything from designing clothes to preparing for fashion shows. May also assist with production work such as measuring, coloring, and sketching. This position may coordinate meetings and assist at meetings with clients or retailers.

Assistant Fashion Designer Responsibilities:
- Work with technical designers to ensure tech packages are accurate and complete
- Evaluate fit samples returned from factories to determine compliance of specs, construction
- Spec garments and record accurate measurements on spec sheets
- Interested in learning how to create detail comments and address all garment corrections with factory representatives
- Collaborate with technical designers, design team to ensure desired product is achieved on time
- Assist in fit session by taking notes on all points to comment on, on model or dress form
- Attend each fitting prepared with technical packs and ensure size and fit consistency across product categories, have fit history
- Support Design Team in establishing major themes, key trends and direction for the line including color, silhouette, fabric and print that is in keeping with the Athleta brand aesthetic
- Assist in the Technical Development effort for all styles within assigned area
Assistant Fashion Designer Qualifications:
- One year of experience (may include summer jobs, internships)
- Basic knowledge of product, fabric, garment construction, design and color
- Working knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, textiles and current finishing techniques and processes.
- Knows the measuring techniques
- Exception organizational skills and thrives in a fast paced environment

Pay: $19.75 - $22.00 per hour
