Assistant Engineer - Water Resources

Our Lakewood, Colorado office is seeking applications for an entry-level Water Resources engineer. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Water Resources in Colorado and in building relationships and partnerships with our clients.

• Assist in the development and application of modeling and analyses related to a variety of Water Resources projects.
• Project work may include water supply planning studies, hydrologic and supply modeling, and integrated Water Resources management projects.
• Collaborate in a team setting to solve complex problems creatively and critically.

• Self-starter with attention to detail and experience collaborating across disciplines
• Experience in any of the following: Water Resources or hydrology modeling software, advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. PowerPivot), ArcGIS, data analysis and visualization (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI, SQL, Python, R)
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across the organization, including project teams, project managers, clients
• Eagerness to implement a seller/doer business model to grow internal and external relationships
• Project experience, including integrated planning, water supply analysis and modeling, watershed or hydrology studies, and related planning studies
• A broader understanding or interest in all things water, including; hydrology, water quality, drinking water, and water reuse.
