Hvac Maintenance Technician

G.S. Gelato & Desserts, Inc. is a manufacturer of authentic Italian gelato, sorbet, plant-based frozen desserts and soft serve with national distribution in the foodservice and grocery/retail industries. G.S. Gelato is looking for a HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Job Duties Include, but not limited to:

• Performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment and compressors
• Diagnose malfunctions and defects in equipment.
• Operate tools, gauges and other testing equipment for refrigeration systems.
• Uses hand tools and power tools in making maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds and walks.
• Maintenance tasks including but not limited to welding, electrical, plumbing, and other general construction needs throughout the facility.

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE FIELD EXPERIENCE IN HVAC, INDUSTRIAL REFRIGERATION, OR RELATED EDUCATION
• Knowledgeable about all components of refrigeration systems.
• Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Should have the ability to work both independently and in teams as needed.
• Good math, communication, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, as this job may require heavy lifting, and long periods of standing or kneeling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
