Assistant Sales Director
Job description
The Assistant Director of Sales role is to provide leadership and direction for the following Departments: Sales, E-commerce, Permitting, Art, Estimating, and Audit departments. They secure that each department functions efficiently, while meeting the financial goals of the company and leading Promotion Plus to be the most admired image contractor in our space. The position requires a partnership with the Director of Operations, working unilaterally to ensure alignment among all departments, to meet the company demands. In addition to work closely with the President, Vice President, and Director of Operations in setting and implementing the company goals with broad departmental buy-in.
- Lead the Annual Sales Goal setting process with all Sales reps/Management & stakeholders.
- Lead the monthly Sales Forecast process measuring against Sales Goals.
- Lead and Manage the Sales, Marketing, Permitting, Estimating/Art Departments and ZoomNSupply/E-commerce
- Monitor and implement department Vital Factor measurables and continuous improvement focus
- Hire, fire, discipline, reward as necessary to create an environment of tenacious high performers and pursuit of excellence.
- Keep Director Peers and Senior Management updated regarding process challenges/changes/successes.
- Works closely together with all Sales Teams training, advising and counseling to best practices within policy that produces best sales outcome.
- Review and prepare company policies and procedures to maximize efficiency throughout the department processes,
- Create job descriptions and training binders for new hires.
- Review resumes and conduct interviews in onboarding process.
- Conduct random audits and reviews throughout the Sales Department to ensure Policy and Practices are being maintained.
- Assist in strategic sales planning.
- Oversee the growth of the National Service and Installation network within Promotion Plus Sign Co., Inc.
- Responsible for measuring and leading the performance of the permitting team. Provide feedback, manage, and monitor KPI's. Drive continuous improvement.
- Monthly meetings with PM team to review project status-"Be customer advocate"
- Update and reconcile WIP report.
