Assistant Controller

Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Oversee daily accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Collaborate with the Controller to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation is a plus.
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the agriculture industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
