We are currently seeking an Assistant Controller for Riveredge Hospital. Simply apply to the posting and discuss your interests with the hiring manager if you are selected to come in for an interview.

Under the direction of the CFO, the Assistant Controller is responsible for timely and accurate follow up of all assigned accounts. Submits reports to CFO/Business Office Manager as assigned. Maintain collection files and monitors for accuracy. Performs other various clerical responsibilities as needed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· Manages month-end accounting close process to ensure timeliness and accuracy

· Assures journal entries are completed in a timely manner

· Reviews and assures compliance with all supporting documents

· Prepares/oversees completion of monthly reconciliation

· Prepares Corporate check requests

· Processes Accounts Payable checks

· Assures deficiencies are communicated and resolved

· Supports day-to-day functioning of Accounting and Payroll

· Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Job Experience/Certification:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance required.

· Prior experience as an auditor preferred.

· A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a medical facility business office preferred.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
