Our client, in beautiful Fort Collins, is seeking an Assistant Community Manager! This is a wonderful opportunity to advance from Leasing Consultant to a management position as they are willing to train! They are seeking a candidate with the following:
- Leasing experience
- Previous Fair Housing knowledge or training
- LIHTC or Section8 experience is helpful
- Knowledgeable with market surveys and has the ability to collect required data and analyze results to maximize community’s position within the local market

The Assistant Community Manager (ACM) is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Assisting in maintaining maximum occupancy of the property
- Oversees rent collection, delinquencies, posting notices and accurately reconcile payments in timely manner
- Handles addressing resident satisfaction/retention issues
- Assists with the collection and communication of maintenance issues
- Assist with the upkeep of the grounds and office areas, by regularly walking the property, to ensure the reputation and curb appeal of the community meets/exceeds company expectations
- Responsible for understanding and communication of the community’s funding programs to then explain program rules successfully to prospects, applicants, and residents
- Process all new resident move-in files and resident re-certifications in a timely manner according to Section 8 or Section 42/LIHTC guidelines and submit to compliance for final approval
- Ensure all resident files completely and accurately
- Accepts resident service requests in an accurate and prompt manner and enters in applicable software in live time
- Will be the Acting Community Manager when the manager is away or unavailable
