Job Description Delwest Management is looking for an Assistant Community Apartment Manger ! Delwest is one of Denver’s premier developers. We own and manage our own portfolio of luxury and affordable apartment communities in Colorado. This property is near Glendale, close to Cherry Creek.
Previous experience in apartment management and leasing necessary. This is a faced paced environment and requires organizational and customer service skills. RESMAN or other property management software helpful. Basic Fair Housing knowledge a must.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
· Resident relations and retention; Assist in quickly and professionally responding to resident needs and concerns.
· Initiate service requests to address resident service needs.
· Help to design, implement and encourage resident participation in community events. Work closely with our ED of programs and partnerships to create event calendars and participate in property events.
· Assist, when directed by the Community Manager, in accurately completing accounting functions that pertain to invoices, the collection and computation of rents, security deposits, resident move-out charges and collection accounts.
· Assist Community Manager in marketing the property and/or working with marketing consultant as requested.
· Courteously receive housing applications, show vacant units.
· Assist the Community Manager in consistently addressing daily operations.
· Neatly and accurately prepare, maintain, and file documentation and paperwork.
· General office functions (equipment, computer, IPAD, phone use and filing.
· Assist to maintain the property.
· Distribute notices/demands. Communicate with residents via RESMAN.
· Attend trainings, conference and trade shows, office meetings.
· Pride in a professional business appearance and have a positive attitude towards fellow staff and residents. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Candidate must have valid drivers license, must pass pre-employment background and drug screen and be bondable.
