Qualifications:
- Highly energetic, motivated, and organized
- Coaching 3 sports (2nd & 3rd sport will depend on experience)
- Must have a CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL
- Sports related to position - Baseball, Basketball, Football, Golf, Powerlifting, Track & Field
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized accredited college or university
- Must have a valid Texas Teaching Certification to meet NCLB highly qualified criteria and passed EXCET exams
Compensation:
- BISD pays $4000 above the State Base Teacher Scale
- $500 for Masters paid in November
- Stipends for each sport coached
- 10 extra days pay
- $4000 Stipend prorated for Math classes taught
- $4000 Stipend prorated for Science classes taught
- $1000 Attendance Bonus ($500 possible in December & $500 possible in June)
- $225 paid toward TRS health insurance
- $10,000 Life Insurance Policy at no cost to employee
