Do you like binders? How about post it notes? Us too! We’re looking for a high energy, meticulously organized, solution seeking mind to come work with us at Bay View Campgrounds. A passion for RV camping is helpful, but don’t worry if you’ve never even been camping…we can teach you the details you may need to know. While this position is office based, there will be occasional time outdoors completing tasks.
This position is designed to start in the “Assistant” compacity with promotion to full Administrator when ready. The role encompasses Administration duties in all areas of park operations, including but not restricted to: Performing and managing office duties (i.e. processing daily receipts, banking, paying bills, payroll, answering phones, front desk coverage taking site reservations and registering campers, customer billings, etc.) and park operations (i.e. policy implementation and enforcement), staffing (i.e. interviewing potential employees, scheduling, staffing all departments to ensure the successful operations of Bay View, employee policy and implementation) booking entertainment, and overseeing activities.
As a seasonal business, the workload here also changes with the seasons. While we are closed for the season it’s great: expect to work Monday-Friday, 20-25 hours a week! Once we are open for camping May 1-October 15, we ask team members to be flexible, working 40 hours a week (rarely, but occasionally more). Shifts would certainly be on weekends and holidays and could be day or night shifts between 7am and 10pm. Two days off are scheduled mid-week.

Requirements
- Organized, organized, and very organized
- Administrative experience desired
- Ability to anticipate administrative needs and create solutions
- Substantial computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets as well as databases and customer database systems (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Can write professional emails and documents, conveying information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to understanding and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Must at all times be attentive friendly helpful and courteous to all guests managers and fellow employees
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Bay View Campgrounds standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to need
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards)
- Comply at all times with Bay View Campgrounds standards and policies to encourage safe and efficient operations
- Maintain files and accounts in an organized fashion
- Perform any other duties requested by Managers or Administrators
- High School diploma or equivalent required
