Assistant Account Manager Commercial Lines (Hybrid)

As anAssistant Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be assisting Account Managers and Producers with the servicing of assigned business accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing superior day to day client service by anticipating client needs and responding to client, producer and Account Manager questions and issues in a timely manner.

• Confirming carrier needs in order to quote renewals
• Preparing renewal exposure workbooks to be sent to client
• Assisting with the gathering of renewal information from the client
• Ordering and processing renewal and change requests with an emphasis on Business Insurance Risk Management
• Processing and billing premium audits
• Processing and billing renewal policies
• Preparing and billing Bonds when required
• Assisting in the preparation of new and renewal presentations
• Preparing ID cards, binders, evidence of property & other certificate of insurance requests
• Processing and documenting cancellations and reinstatements
• Maintaining accurate policy data in agency management system (AMS360)
• Consistently Maintaining client documentation in document managing system (Worksmart)
• Maintaining a courteous and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, insurance carriers and other business contacts
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have Illinois Property & Casualty license or obtain within 60 days of hire date
• 3 years Commercial Lines Agency experience in a highly automated, risk management focused environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products with proficiency in Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment that will also require working independently
• Experience with AMS360 system a strong plus
