We have an immediate openingfor an Assembly Technician who is responsible for performing the assemble of OEM equipment, (mechanical driving mechanism for water treatment facilities around the world).
Anticipated Work Hours: 10 hours 4 days per week is considered a normal workweek, with overtime opportunities.
Hourly Rate - $22.00 - $24.00 based on experience

Job Descriptions & Responsibilities:
- Safety; All employees are to properly use all required person protective equipment, follow all safety guidelines and instructions and work to maintain and improve a safe work environment.
- Quality mindset
- Perform complex and advanced assembly of products according to established specifications and instructions.
- Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Reads and deciphers schematics, drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
- Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with hoists.
- Conducts quality control checks.
- Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
- Perform final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure high quality products.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
- Resolves assembly problems by; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources, altering dimensions to meet specifications per supervisor guidance or engineering changes.
- Keeps facility equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for service or repairs.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels, placing, and tracking orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Perform cleaning of all parts as per established cleaning procedures
- Receive, unload, unpack and transfer materials to different workstations via lift truck or pallet jack.
- Expected to arrive on time every day scheduled.
Preferred Job Functions:
- Mechanical and technical skills.
- Dexterity, ability to manipulate and assemble parts or components which may be large or small.
- Previous experience in manufacturing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate, GED, or equivalent education.
- Knowledge of or prior experience with computers.
- Valid driver license
- Good communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for up to 3 minutes at a time.
- Standing - most all the time while performing duties.
- Walking-carrying prepared parts 75-100 ft.
- Climbing/balancing - Occasionally
- Stooping/crawling-sometimes while fitting.
- Reaching/handling-most all the time.
- Speaking/hearing-pay attention to surrounding noises.
- Seeing-wearing personal safety equipment.
