Priority Ambulance California and CONFIRE, a Joint Power Authority, formed by nine-member fire agencies in San Bernardino County, are parties to a public-private alliance model that will provide emergency and non-emergency ambulance services in portions of San Bernardino County, California. Together Priority Ambulance California and CONFIRE were selected to provide emergency and non-emergency ambulance services in portions of San Bernardino County, California.
Priority Ambulance California will work directly with CONFIRE EMS-MOBILE HEALTH (CONFIRE EMS), a division of CONFIRE. Our mission is to provide a holistic approach to emergency medicine, including emergency medical ground ambulance transportation, 9-1-1, interfacility, and critical care transportation.
Priority Ambulance California is currently recruiting for EMS Academy Students to join the Priority Ambulance California and CONFIRE EMS team.

Provided to Participants: $16/hr. Student Wage, Full-time Benefits, Tuition, Books, Uniforms, National Registry Exam, Licensing Fees
Expected from Participants: Full engagement with attendance to all classes, labs, and clinical rotations; prompt testing for License upon course completion; commitment to work for Priority Ambulance California in full-time position for at least 2 years following licensure.
Classroom: Crafton Hills College, 114 S Del Rosa Dr. San Bernardino, CA 92408
Format: Live Instructor led Classes/Labs; Clinical rotations by host agencies.
Schedule:
- Total class length is 10 weeks
- 0800-1600 hours (40 hours per week)
- Clinical hours with host agencies
Beginning Date: May 6, 2024
Slated Ending Date: July 17, 2024
Admission Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older; valid Driver’s License; High-school Diploma or GED.
