Job Description
This position is for a Systems Engineering Associate Manager supporting the Systems Integration and Test organization at RMS, Moorestown. This manager will provide leadership and functional management for
approximately 15 engineers in the Maritime Sensor Systems Integration and Test Group. This manager will provide expertise to perform integration, functional and performance requirements verification, and data collection and analysis of our hardware and software products in the System I&T domain. The manager will also be responsible for the following:
- Support the Manager of Sensor Systems Integration and Test in the technical and functional oversight of Integration and Test activities for radar mission systems and solid state radar related programs to include: multi-element integration, test planning and development, test coordination and execution, model-based system design and Test, and requirements analysis and verification.
- Technical oversight of system test programs with a focus on supporting 1LMX initiatives and the development of automated test methods and tools.
- Promotion of Agile-based principles and practices as they apply to Systems Integration & Test.
- Developing and maintaining a strong rapport with our customer organizations, programs offices, Radar Systems Engineering and the Sensor and Effectors Organization.
- Supporting the program technical leadership and functional management on cost, schedule and technical performance.
Basic Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline.
- Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years proven leadership experience within a Systems and/or Software Engineering discipline, Radar design or Test experience and a combined minimum 8 years of experience in a technical role.
- Demonstrated Technical Leadership Requirements: Sustained demonstrated performance as a technical engineering team lead (i.e IPT Lead, BDL or Product Owner) where candidate has led a team of 8 or more members for a minimum of 2 years is required.
- Cost Estimation & BOE Generation: Experience with cost estimation generation, development of cost justifications, Basis of Estimate (BOE) generation, use of BOE/GenBOE tools and Lockheed Martin Tech Ops cost estimation approval process is required. Ensures appropriate BOE's are applied, risks and opportunities identified, and approves cost estimates.
- Earned Value Management: Experience with earned value management and Cost Accounting Management (CAM), including work package definition is required. Earned Value Management/CAM certification is required. Candidate must have experience managing program cost accounts.
- Strong demonstrated communication skills, interpersonal skills, business sense, leadership skills, and a full understanding of the system development process, culminating in the delivery of a quality product, is required.
- Expertise with Agile methodology and tools, automated testing and continuous integration
- Final Secret Clearance.

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $115,500 - $217,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
