One River School of Art + Design EVANSTON is looking for Smart and Passionate artist-educators who want to help us deliver on our mission to "Transform Art Education" in America. Our program is a new direction in art education, focusing on contemporary art and progressive digital technology tools for creating art. Our instructors love working here and connecting with the community.
We are looking for experienced instructors and passionate artists with a desire to teach a wide variety of classes to students of all ages that include the following subjects: drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Our studios are state of the art and teaching at One River is a completely different experience than any other art program in the country.

QUALIFICATIONS for Art & Digital Media / Design Instructor

• BFA or BA required, MFA or MA strongly desired
• Experience teaching studio art or digital media / design at structured or alternative programs
• Strong technical skills and subject matter expertise
• Significant first-hand experience in making art
• Passion for working with people and creating a fun / interactive experience
