Position Summary
The Area Manager is responsible for achieving People, Performance, Profit, and Processes, according to Consolidated Taco LLC standards while at the same time exemplifying all Consolidated Taco LLC Values and Leadership Traits and ensuring all General Managers in the area maintain the confidence of their team through continued leadership development.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Schedule and complete the Area Manager Planner Guide for each Restaurant weekly and provide coaching and feedback for RGMs
- Review Profitability Performance metrics daily on RTI including Sales, Food, and Labor Variance
- Create plans daily on DBR calls with RGMs for SOS, Labor, and Food
- Review Ops Performance Metrics on Del Taco R-Insights and make strategic decisions to motivate and coach RGMs to maximize FSS scores
- Monitor and approve schedules and projections and course correct during the week to ensure all shifts are adequately staffed for upcoming events and changes in local markets
- Ensure all RGM mandatory routines are completed on time including inventories and daily cash deposits
- Responsible for building and maintaining an adequate RGM bench
- Responsible for RGM personal development in business acumen
- Responsible for developing 2 training managers per district
- All equipment and facilities are maintained and in good working condition
- Properly uses Ecotrak to submit work orders and for any equipment and facility repairs
- Responsible for a safe working environment for all employees
- Responsible for rolling out all Consolidated Taco LLC operational and marketing programs as instructed
- Ensure all Consolidated Taco LLC and Del Taco training is completed for all staff
- Personally verify random inventories routinely for accuracy
- Responsible for minimum Consolidated Taco LLC Scorecard results in the area
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate general office equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Thorough understanding of training processes.
- Ability to moderate large groups.
- Strong interviewing and investigation skills
Education and Experience
- 5 years of experience in a similar position
- A college degree is preferred

Pay: $65000 - $80000 / year
