The role of the Area Manager is to support the company to help reach our company objectives. We strive to provide the best and safest customer experience for Wheel Fun Rentals customers, improve gross rental revenue at WFR outlets and control costs. This will require the creation, implementation and follow up of systems which will improve efficiency, productivity, and customer service.
Location Oversight
· Requires frequent travel to locations in territory, visiting each site a minimum of once weekly
· Assure WFR Quality Assurance Standards are met during visit and by performing Location Inspections. Ensure all systems and processes work to maintain and monitor:
o Customer Service
o Maintenance of fleet (including parts box and maintenance board utilization) – will be responsible to learn the maintenance of all rental product.
o P.O.S. upkeep and periodic procedures (incl. manual transaction compliance)
o Cleanliness (including product/facilities)
o Product Display
o Uniform and Appearance Guidelines Compliance
o Scheduling Guidelines
· Ensure location deposits match expected cash totals
· Ensure locations adhere to posted hours of operation with appropriate staffing, and cover location call outs where applicable
· Management of locations including scheduling, hiring, recruiting, disciplinary action
· Operational oversight of Shared Revenue locations and overall paperwork compliance assurance
· Networking & Maintaining Relationships (Including Parks Contacts and Share Rev Partners)
· General organization of all location developments and follow up when necessary; consultation with Operations Manager when needed.
· Ensure all website/voicemail/signage have accurate and consistent information.
· Work closely with Operations Manager to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems.
· Follow through with both current and new protocols that are implemented.
· Other duties to be assigned.
General Coordination
· Verify the following procedures occur on a timely basis:
o Parts orders sent weekly (2x a week in-season)
o Paperwork box sent weekly (2x a week in-season)
o Deposits made weekly (2x a week in-season)
o Supplies orders made weekly
o Shared revenue paperwork submitted monthly
o Expense reports submitted monthly
· Asset management/loss prevention oversight: Coordination with WFR Central Accounting regarding investigation of inventory counts, and shortage/overage
· Ad posting for location Leads; plus support in reviewing resumes, pre-screens, interviews
· Logistics planning with Operations Manager for large groups and offsite rentals
· Conflict & Issue Resolution in real time (Customers and Employees)

Financial Analysis
· Highly detailed oversight and execution of weekly dashboards, monthly reports, and necessary follow up
· Execution and oversight of additional reporting measures, such as fleet utilization and hours of operation optimization
· Daily Review of location data including revenue, closing times, historical info, etc.
· Weekly Schedule analysis to determine proper staffing needs (productivity & customer service) and Labor vs. Revenue guidelines compliance
· Other duties to be assigned
Fleet Operability and Facility Management
· Maintain proper functionality and safety of all rental product according to WFR Mechanic Handbook, Reference Manuals, Training Videos, etc.
· Expected to train staff in preventative maintenance tasks to best facilitate 100% fleet operability at all times
· Expected to develop mechanically inclined staff on beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of bike mechanics according to WFR guidelines
· Management of tools and spare parts inventory, while monitoring overall part/tool expense
· Assure all facilities (kiosks/containers/buildings/fixtures, etc.) meet both quality WFR standards and adhere to required condition of all park and retail agreements and leases

· At least 3 years in Operations/Management experience
· Strong written and verbal communications skills
· Able to use and implement new technology to make improvements
· Strong level of organization and ability to follow and create new systems

· Takes initiative and isn’t afraid to make decisions
· Physically capable to move around WFR products

Pay: $58,500.00 - $62,500.00 per year
