Ar/Client Billing Specialist

GENERAL SUMMARY:

This entry level Client Billing Specialist will support the VP of Finance and will perform administrative tasks related to the processing of invoices and billing into our system, ConnectWise, and Quickbooks. These duties may include sending invoices to clients and monitoring outstanding balances to ensure each account is paid on time and in full. You will help the manager track how much money is owed and by whom, often managing numerous client accounts at once.

The duties may include assisting the manager in other finance projects and tasks. The ideal candidate is a self-starting, flexible individual, energized by providing exceptional support and able to “walk the talk” that excellent customer service is vital to our success.

The candidate must have strong organizational skills to accurately handle outgoing invoices, system data entry and updates, and more that make up their day-to-day responsibilities. In addition, you need meticulous attention to detail and must possess excellent communication skills to answer questions from clients and keep them updated with relevant account information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generate invoices
• Input information or other financial data into client accounts and True North systems
• Inform customers of any missed or upcoming payment deadlines
• Generate reports and client information for internal use as assigned by the manager
• Maintain and organize account documents and contracts
• Work with the manager on collecting from clients who are in arrears

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience working in a Billing Specialist role or similar function
• A high degree of attention to detail
• Ability to be productive without a lot of oversight
• Strong computational skill
• Experience in administrative support or general data entry
• Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Proficiency in English both written and oral
• Results-driven

Preferred experience:

• Worked in an MSP environment
• Worked with Connectwise
• Worked in Quickbooks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
