Ar/Ap Clerk

We are looking for an AR/AP Clerk seeking to join a company long term and support the Corporate Accounting team. The ideal candidate for this position has to be able to manage multiple company accounts as well as work well under pressure and be able to work in a fast paced environment. The clerk will be in charge of obtaining revenue and paying invoices by verifying and completing payable and receivable transactions for all companies.

Receiving and documenting individual invoices.

· Entering invoices into the accounting database.

· Preparing and distributing accounts payable checks.

· Preparing A/P related transfers and reconciliations.

· Matching invoices with PO’s and requisitions.

· Balancing and maintaining A/P reports.

· Filing of invoices, requisitions, PO’s, receipts, etc.

· Addressing inquiries from corporate, management and staff.

· Assisting with preparation of reports, returns and forms, as required.

· Preparing month-end, quarterly and annual reports, as required

· Assisting with reconciliation of accounts, G/L statements, inventories, etc.

· Assist with other related accounting tasks, as assigned by Controller or Billing Mgr.

*Pay range open to negotiation based on experience and skill level*
