Our client is seeking a Project Manager whom will work in a matrix environment and manage team resources across the BA, Development, DBA and QA areas located both locally and offshore. This candidate will interface with business users at all levels of management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple Development Project at all the stages of SDLC
- Implement the bank's design standards and System Development Methodology
- Participate in Project Management tasks (i.e. planning, prioritization, estimation, monitoring, management reporting, etc.)
- Project manage the design, coding, testing, documentation and maintenance applications written for client/server and Web environments
- Participate in all aspects of application design and development (i.e. GUI, database, components, database stored procedures, Web components, Crystal Reports, etc.)
- Oversee unit and integration testing, and assists in system and user acceptance testing
- Document application modules, and assist in the preparation of user and system documentation
- Perform all functions as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
- 10+years' experience in Applications Development, business analysis and project management
- 7+ years' experience with systems development methodologies (i.e. SDLC, AGILE, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience managing projects involving .NET, SQL Server, Crystal, Java, DB2,Oracle on the Windows platform
- Experience with Global Custody, multi-currency accounting, international banking, and Securities Processing application systems
- Experience managing projects using Java, JSP, spring and FLEX and experience with Weblogic, Jboss, SiteMinder and Cognos is a plus
- Knowledge of industry best practices such as PMI, CMMI, ITIL, etc.
