Application Developer Ii

The Application Developer II is responsible for providing quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing/enhancing applications. Also, responsible for support activities around existing applications including application monitoring, general maintenance and day-to-day problem resolution.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Strong negotiation skills to facilitate, guide, influence and produce a unified approach within a global cross-functional environment
• Intermediate computer skills; Recognized experience in programming logic and database structures for one or more of the following: .NET, Object Oriented Programming principles, Web, WinForms, WPF, SOA, ETL, Excel and Access products.
• Conversant with databases and database terminology
• Strong and proven ability to use computer and office software applications
• Basic knowledge of software and development tools used by LabCorp
• Ability to implement business objectives
• Ability to focus on customers
• Ability to innovate and change
• Ability to pursue scientific and process excellence

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science required or 3 - 5 years of experience working in systems development
