Provides expert-level technical application support for complex clinical or business applications in the healthcare environment. Includes gathering, analyzing and evaluating user needs, and implementing, optimizing, supporting and troubleshooting clinical or business applications.
Assist in the implementation and support of Epic/Cone HealthLink’s Willow modules.
This position will have responsibility for the in-depth analysis of department workflows, application build, support of the Willow Inpatient module and other technical issues associated with Epic software and integrated third party systems. Collaborates with other team members to assist in design, validation, and problem resolution and Other identified Willow team needs including on-call.

Responsibilities:Assist in the analysis, development and documentation of internal procedures and workflows, as well as training of end users in both the hospital and ambulatory settings.

Assist with implementation and support of third party systems used by the Access community: e.g. Welcome Kiosk, Phonetree, Real Time Eligibility, etc.

Collaborate with technical and end user groups to ensure Cone Healthlink meets the organization's clinical and business needs when building and implementing the system.

Provide ongoing system support including participation in on-call coverage for off-hours.

Review and test data conversions, interfaces, and new application releases. Populate databases during the initial system build. Ensure that data coming across an interface into an Epic application meets the business need.

Troubleshoot and determine the appropriate course of action when system problems are identified, using knowledge of how the various scheduling, registration and clinical systems interface.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree
EXPERIENCE:Required:
Prior experience in a healthcare scheduling role for patient appointments or as an IT professional, depending upon education:
For High School diploma: Minimum five years? experience.
For Associate?s degree: Minimum 3 years? experience
For Bachelor?s degree: Minimum 1 year experience.
Proven experience with successful project implementations.
Preferred:
Prior healthcare information systems experience.
Strong working knowledge of registration processes and industry rules & regulations.
Experience working with insurance plans and payors.
In-depth knowledge of Cone Health policies and procedures.

Required to successfully complete Epic certification at first opportunity after hire date.
