SR. ANALYST, APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT | REMOTE | EST
The Select Group is looking for a talented Sr. Application Development Analyst to join one of our top healthcare partners. This person will be joining the team responsible for the system administration of the enterprise-wide implementation and management of their OnePlan PPM solution.
SR. ANALYST, APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming
- Significant experience programming languages including Java and .NET
- Strong understanding of development best practices and SDLC processes
- Ability to translate business process language into requirements and system design
- Development skills including VB, C#, HTML/DHTML, JSP, Java Servlets, Oracle, PL/SQL, Java, UNIX, Windows, J2EE, Microservices, Spring Framework, .NET, and XML
- Understanding of relational database concepts and products
- Understanding of web architecture, Application Development, security standards, and cloud infrastructure
SR. ANALYST, APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzes, develops, tests, deploys, and/or maintains software systems
- Writes high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
- Evaluates existing applications and performs updates and modifications
- Helps define functional specifications of software systems
- Works with Product Managers and Business Analysts to review and deliver high quality software applications
- Participates in long-range planning for new projects
- Prepares documentation pertaining to the systems and services supported by the company
- Integrates the functionality of all software systems used within the company to maximize technical environment
- Demonstrates a willingness to accept new or additional responsibility
- Identifies and recommends solutions for system inefficiencies
- Participates in system architecture design
- Acts as a mentor to less experienced development staff
- Identifies and acts upon opportunities to improve communications at all levels and in all directions
- Displays an excellent ability to facilitate cross-functional communication, including ability to identify and resolve conflict
- Completes technical deliverables, performs code review, unit testing, and system validation documentation for regulatory environments
