Job Summary:
Enterprise Procurement Partners seeks an experienced API Integration Developer to collaborate with the Enterprise Procurement Analytics and Systems team in integrating and optimizing data flow across multiple systems. The primary objective is to streamline processes, reduce redundant data entry, and enhance data synchronization using API integrations. This role will involve working with various stakeholders to understand requirements, develop API solutions, and ensure seamless data exchange between key procurement and financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement API integrations to facilitate data exchange and synchronization between 4-5 enterprise systems, including Workday Financials/HCM, Workday Strategic Sourcing (formerly ScoutRFP), Globality (sourcing event platform), Agiloft Contract Lifecycle Management via the Workato Integration platform, and PowerBI.
- Utilize OpenAPI specifications and adhere to RESTful design principles to design, develop, and maintain APIs that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define integration objectives, and prioritize development activities.
- Leverage webhooks and API connections to automate data population and updates between systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data flow.
- Explore and implement alternative solutions to optimize data integration processes and enhance system interoperability.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds to convey integration strategies, progress, and outcomes.
- Support data mapping, transformation, and validation activities to ensure data quality and integrity across integrated systems.
- Provide documentation, training, and support to end-users and stakeholders on API functionalities and data exchange processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of proven work experience as an API Developer, with a strong focus on OpenAPI specifications and RESTful design principles.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing API integrations across multiple systems.
- Ideally, 1-2 years of experience with the Workato Integration platform, particularly in non-packaged integrations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with procurement or financial datasets is a plus.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Prior experience in enterprise system integration projects is highly desirable.

The hourly pay range for this position is $60-$65 an hour. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401K and commuter benefits.
