Job Description:As a Microsoft Power Platform Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Dataverse, and Power Automate. You will also have additional opportunities to work with Power BI and SharePoint Online.
The ideal candidate has the capability and experience to understand business problems and solve them using Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies. This is a newly created position with CIT and will play a critical role in building out CIT’s Power Platform Application Development offering.
- Collaborate with customers and business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes to develop a scope of work for the Power Apps you will build.
- Create proposals and quotes for the work.
- Support tech lead in development plans, code, and design reviews.
- Design and develop Power Apps for customers.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to build out CIT’s Microsoft Power Platform offering and educate customers on our capabilities.
- Gather requirements from customers for SharePoint site development.
- Design and implement dashboards utilizing PowerBI to visualize data and provide insights.
To be successful in this position, you will need to meet the following requirements and qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Dataverse, and Power Automate.
- Strong understanding of data connections, data modeling, and formula writing within Power Apps.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with SharePoint Online design and administration.
- Familiarity with PowerBI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Written and oral communication proficiency including ability to design information, documentation, training material, and more as needed.
The following items are preferred, but not required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or similar
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and app integrations.
