Junior Application Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Application Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of application development, including coding, design, and testing new software applications. Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of software applications.
• Write clean, scalable, and documented code under the supervision of senior developers.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues.
• Learn and apply new technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Update and maintain software documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Up to 2 years of experience in application development (internships and personal projects included).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
• Basic understanding of software development principles and the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, FileMaker) and web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
